The period from June to October is the most effective, as wasps look for sugar to build their nests and expand their colonies. Refills available separately. The Spectracide™ trap for wasps, hornets and yellow jackets requires no tools for assembly, making it quick and easy to install. Once assembled, hang the trap approximately 4 to 5 feet high in a sunny location, out of direct sunlight and strong winds, away from areas frequented by children and pets. Install traps 4.5 m from areas of pest activity (if using multiple traps, space them 4.5 to 9 m apart). Do not install them near nests or flowering plants.
